“I have been doing painting since Covid. That is when I decided that I want to have my hand in this type of expression. I paint using acrylic paint on canvas. Themes include antiquities, nature, and abstract. I’m always learning new techniques and experimenting to improve my technique. Learning new techniques and coffering with other artists has become part of my passion. To date, I have completed a portfolio of over 400+ pieces.”

Mark Angel created the ‘Our Sephardic Family’ Facebook group in 2011. It has grown to 6000+ members on 6 continents. The group’s goal is to connect the Sephardims and strengthen the concept of family and common cultural bonds by sharing knowledge of precious customs, foods, clothing, language, and rituals–leading us to be empowered and inspired, which will contribute to preserving the Sephardic heritage and future legacy.
