“Ni Odjou ni Badja” is Malca Levy’s new book of Sephardic tales and stories from Africa, Europe, and Ladino culture. She previously authored ‘Assi Biva Djouha,’ ‘Yakar Miday,’ and ‘Chaka, Maka.’
The book is mainly about the Sephardic Jews from the island of Rhodes. It’s a testimony about life infused with humor and love, as told by the person who shared the oral history in French and Ladino, with beautiful illustrations from artist Anna Lauwert.
