David Romano
Born in Seattle September 26, 1926 to Isaac and Esther Romano. Graduated from Garfield High School and attended Seattle University. He proudly served in the US Army during WWII. Shortly after, Dave married the love of his life Rebecca Peha (Becky Romano). They were happily married for 67 years. Dave worked for various businesses including the Boeing company. His career spanned over 3 decades owning Seattle area taverns:
The Attic - Madison Park,
The Cellar - Capitol Hill and
The Interchange - Kent.
He was an entertainer behind the bar and in life. Dave and Becky traveled extensively before and after his retirement, living life to the fullest. They spent many winters in Palm Springs. He enjoyed golf with his buddies and spending time with his extended family. He was a lifelong member of Ahavath Achim and Congregation Ezra Bessaroth. Dave is survived by his wife Becky and their three children, son Isaac, daughters Estelle and Rochelle (Rob Bush). His two grandchildren, David (Yeyre) and Brielle, and great grandchildren, Mateo and Neeso, brought him much joy. He will always be deeply loved and missed by his extended family and friends.
Funeral and burial services will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 at the Sephardic Brotherhood Cemetery located at 1230 N 167th Street, Shoreline, WA 98133.
